Bill Thornton Named General Manager Of Briant Construction

Fri, 07/09/2010 Hawai'i - Kauai - Bill Thornton has been hired as General Manager of Briant Construction, a mechanical, design/build contractor, and project and construction management firm, that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kauai-based Aqua Engineers, Hawaii’s largest and most experienced water and wastewater management and operations company.

Before joining Briant Construction, Thornton was Construction Manager and Project Director at Kitchell Contractors, Inc. for almost ten years, in charge of the company’s Hawaii projects, taking the lead on civil engineering improvement projects that were part of the Kukuiula master-planned community on Kauai and other Hawaii-based projects. Prior to that, he worked at Arizona based Sundt Companies, Inc, working on military and other design/build projects from Hawaii to the Midwest, spending four years in Hawaii, from 1996 - 2000. Thornton attended Arizona State University, Del E. Web School of Construction. He is an active member of Maui and Kauai communities, where he resides and works.
